Angels....

I received a commission today to paint 5 -18" in angels in a dome above the dining room kitchen.
I am excited to do this for the client. She had been collecting slips of paper of angels for 2 years. She finally decided I was the right artist for the job. I am so flattered.

This commission comes just in time I teach angel painting at a the SALI convention this summer. Hmmmm here is the before picture of her dome and her pictures.

I will now do some color studies and sketches to incorporate all the elements she reqires. Client says..."One angel with a harp, not any harp but this harp. One angel reading a big book like this one but not with her hair and I like this angel but not her dress use this dress..." and on it went. So I gathered up the 15 slips of paper with her notes and will begin to build her angels...I'll keep you posted.
