Embracing the light.

This is my mural at the yoga studio...Vision came during practice....My desire fulfilled. To be an artist.
God gives us desire to do something and we will only be happy and fulfilled when we follow those dreams. He doesn't give us dreams so we can fail. He gives us dreams to challenge us and to bring out the best of our character. The work that it takes and sacrifices we make to achieve those dreams are what build us and make us who we are.
I mentor many artists. And the fear and the doubt is always the biggest obstacle to hurdle. Of course in comes in the form of excuses. "i can't draw" or "I don't have the right tools" or "Not enough time ...money...creaivity..." Becoming who God wants us to be takes courage and faith. You want to be an artist. DRAW....that's it. Everyday that you practice you are one step closer to your goal. You will get better. Same with all aspects of your dream. Break it into steps and forge ahead....No time? get up earlier or go to bed later. No money...read...from the library, study become self taught....Learn, organize and just do it.

You will never become it unless you do it.

I know it is easier said than done. Breaking habits and excuses take hard work. But everytime you try...you get closer. Try harder and you move faster...It's all up to you. (My aha moment from Yoga this am. I like it!)
