Creativity....in any form

Well, it's done. My little ruffle surprise became a purse. I just kept knitting until it was long enough to fold in thirds. I whip stitched the sides together and created a braided strap. I found a huge button at JoAnnes. Cute huh...
Creativity does that to me. No matter what I create it gets my mind spinning. My work takes on a whole new energy. I am a painter. But because my paitning is my work I must play at other creative things to keep my work creative...? Make any sense? I am on cold medicine and this my not make any sense...But I wanted to share.

FoR those that knit...Pattern follows.
(size 8 needles, med yard. I used Red heart medium used most of the skien)

Cast on 66 knit each row until you have 4 ridges. Knit two together for whole row to make ruffle. Now have 33 on needle.
Now knit all rows until it will fold nicely into thirds for a purse.
Whip stich sides. Add button, add strap.
done.
