faith

Isn't she beautiful. This is at the vatican. A fellow artist sent her to me.
I use photo's for references for a lot of my work. I recieved this picture from a friend who knew I was doing research on angels. It was about three years ago and used this angel as a reference for a class. I wrote about her in the an earlier blog entry. My students never saw the original photo. Well, this morning an artist, whom i've never met, sent me a picture that she said reminded her of me while she was at the vatican, (Imagine...Some one thinking of you while at the vatican...I'll ponder that more later.) So she sent me this. The picture of the original painting for my class. I didn't know where the painting was from. I just assumed rom Italy but not where. Made my day.
I call her faith. Just look at it. (Click the photo and it gets bigger)
He knows that just this precious gift of hers(Faith, symbolized by a rosary) will be all that he needs to get him through the battle that surrounds him.
How many times do we feel that in everyday life?? It must be incredible to have such a faith that mere beads will erase all our fears and make us strong no matter what we face.
I love this painting...The one on top..
Here is a in progress picture of my angel... I am getting my version framed. I'll post her later.
