It seems as the kids beckon my time in the summer my artsy self goes in to hiding. My time is not mine. All spare time is with them. As it should be. But I am feeling fall coming...Football is starting and my studio is lonely. I can feel the hunger for creativity calling me. All practical activities are about to get lost....
I have joined two art exchanges. A portrait exchange and an art book trade. I am so excited. It's a bit like being caught up in a current. I have been stuck in the tide pools and now the tide is rising....I am about to be free again.

This is where my heart is...Creating. My best advice for artists is to hang out with creative people. and if you can't find them in your town, find them in the world...We're out here. Looking for you.
